Great plush toys brought to you by the AKC

My puppy Baxter LOVES plush toys. He carries them around, chews on them and then, after a few weeks, meticulously pulls out every little bit of stuffing leaving a gigantic pile of fluff all over the floor. Though I don't like cleaning up this mess, I know how much he enjoys having plush toys so I continue to indulge him (supervised only at this point). His new favorite plushies are the American Kennel Club Green Planet Collection toys available in a variety of different realistic animals shapes.

Baxter likes these AKC toys because of their fun shapes and textures and the loud squeaker inside. I like them because they are more durable than the typical plush toy and best of all, they are environmentally friendly and made from recycled (but safe) materials. The strong fabric is double stitched and all details are embroidered on so that there are no small parts your pooch could swallow.

We have the squirrel and rabbit, but there are plenty of other animals to choose from that are super cute. Though these toys are not indestructible, they are certainly more durable and higher quality than the typical plush toy you will find at the pet store.
