I Pick Up!
Picking up poop. Not the most glamorous part of being a dog parent. In the past, I’ve typically used plastic grocery bags to dispose of Jax’s waste. While I always prided myself for being a responsible pet parent, I recently learned that these bags actually are not environmentally friendly. In my effort to become greener, I found a way to pick up poop stylishly and help the environment with The Kemp. This smart, hand-made, eco-friendly bag was created by Bibi Rogers at 4U2ReUSE and is designed to conveniently attach to a leash or belt loop.
The Kemp is available in two sizes—Petit, holds up to 10 biodegradable bags and Grande, holds up to 14 biodegradable bags as well a cell phone and keys. Each Kemp is made from completely organic fabrics and re-used materials such as vintage clothing or defective/non-repairable kite boarding sails. Bibi is committed to promoting sustainability stating, “I also use local materials and fabric providers to cut down on shipping, energy consumption and other operational waste in the manufacturing process.” The Kemp comes in a variety of colors such as Burberry Denim, Rainbow Denim and Blue Kite. Get The Kemp here for $22 with free shipping on all orders!
