I love all things about our dog, Jax. His smile, the way he shakes with glee when he sees us and his eagerness to befriend our cats. The one small issue we have, through no fault of his own, is that our house is being taken over by balls of fur. Since using the FURminator, we have definitely noticed less fur around the house AND Jax’s coat appears shinier. The tool is a bit on the pricey side ($49.95 for a medium tool), but it is well worth the extra dollars. The FURminator comes in different widths based on the size of your dog. A number of people have been telling me to review this for months. Thank you for doing this! I really need to try this with Maggie!!!
I use one with Axel who is a wire coated fox terrier. It works well - and he loves it as it feels like a massage. It is amazing how much hair comes out. As Axel is hand stripped never shaved, the furminator is helpful in maintaining the wiry coat between hand strippings. It is easier to use than the usual stripping blade tools.
