Nuts for Knots!
This weekend Harold and I discovered Nuts for Knots. They are a compact ball made of a tightly woven cotton rope material that is not only colorful, but durable. The green, yellow and purple design makes it easy to find in the giant box of toys Harold has accumulated and quickly became a favorite for playtime.
As it gets colder here in Washington DC Harold doesn't want to go for long walks anymore. In order to get the proper amount of exercise we throw Nuts for Knots around the hallway in our apartment building. Because it is not perfectly round it bounces in unpredictable ways. Harold literally goes nuts and chases it in every direction. It makes him tired more quickly than a tennis ball because he spends so much time trying to run it down. But be careful, we left Harold alone with one for too long and he began to unravel the rope. The label even warns to throw it out once the knot becomes damaged. But for such a great price ($2.49 for the small) it is worth it!
These colorful balls come in small, medium and large so they are great for any sized dog. They are available online at ThePuppyShop.com but act now, they are currently on sale for 10% off!
